Chasing Light on the Puget Sound

I’ve been fly fishing again this past month in the Puget Sound. One aspect of fishing on the Sound versus a river is the expanse of the horizon and the open exposure of the bay. The stalwart Olympic mountains grace our view and form this incredible backdrop to the western horizon. To the East, downtown Seattle arises with its myriad lights and palatial skyline. Playing with long exposures, candid snapshots, and soaking in the last summer sunsets these photographs display a dichotomous contrast between natural and urban landscapes. Thanks for visiting.
