Solace Amidst Montana's Smoky Haze

I made a quick jaunt to Montana this past week. As I rolled over Lookout Pass, the sky revealed a smoke haze reminiscent of Mordor from Lord of the Rings. While picture taking was limited due to the short duration, I captured some nice shots of my brother on Rock Creek west of Phillipsburg. Despite the fires along the Bitterroot Valley and the Idaho border, I had an afternoon of fishing. The haze added a bit of a challenge and a unique character to the photographs but left my brother and me with sore throats. The XF33mmF1.4 R LM WR has been so satisfying to use that it has been glued to the X-T5, and I didn’t see a need to remove it on this trip. I hope you enjoy the pics.
