The blog stayed quiet for a few months, but my photography quietly kept evolving and finding new directions. Through studies of black-and-white photography at the Photographic Center Northwest I’ve delved into the world of 35mm film photography. This path has been both exhilarating and a touch intimidating, as I’ve gradually come to realize the vastness, nuance, and rich complexity of analog photography. Acquiring the skills to develop my own film negatives and exploring darkroom printing with an enlarger has been incredibly rewarding and creatively freeing.

I haven’t shared any of my recent work until now. However, I recently shot a roll of film at South Lake Union, and it yielded a series of photos that I find pleasing.
